A characteristic of an epoxy probe card is that, the Probes on below of the plate, i.e. wafer side, are soldered directly on the PCB (plate). The probes are separately fastened on the carrier by means of embedding material. Such assembly principle guarantees, by a corresponding layout of the plate, short cycle time for a test signal and makes possible Multi Die Testing.

Today the Probe Factory Ltd. is capable of manufacturing, using this technology, the probe cards with up to 520 probes.
