By the ceramic blade technics the probe is soldered on a ceramic body. The ceramic blades are also soldered on the upper side, i.e. operator's side of the board.

The ceramic blades are applied in testing of „sensitive“ switching circuits, for e.g. for measurement of small currents of the fA-range. By application of the ceramic carriers, among other things, a crosstalk of signals by frequencies, exceeding 30 MHz could be avoided.

Here there are various assembly forms for specific applications.

For e.g. Microstrip, or a stripline, ceramic blades, in order to convey impedance controlled signals via coaxial cable or other special leads to pads, being contacted. Condensers or resistances can be soldered directly upon the blade body.
